I'm not sure this is the right area of this forum to be posting this, but perhaps it is not too horribly wrong ... passing this along from Debbie Wurr, editor of Royal Armouries Publications.

The Royal Armouries is co-publishing a new magazine, Medieval History, with Editions Harnois (who publish the French version, Histoire Medievale). The first issue will be published at the end of August.

I'm glad to see this finally come to publication. I had heard this was being considered (english edition) a couple of years ago.

I too would be interested in subscription costs to the US.

Hello all,

I just received my intro copy of the magazine. It's pretty cool and full of great full color images. I'm very pleased, and even more pleased that they sent it free of charge to me in South Carolina. I really think that I'll subscribe. (when my wife lets me! )

The subscription price for the USA is Ł45 per year (12 issues). Simply send me your credit card details and address and let me know which issue you want to start with.

Its 45 pounds airmail to New Zealand and Australia as well. I've just received the first real issue after getting sent the trial one last month. It's worth subscribing to.

I just got my copy today. Very nicely done. Tons of nice crisp photos on very nice heavy paper. Thank you for bringing this magazine to my attention!

Just got issue #9. I'm very impressed, the quality of production and articles is consistently high. I would recommend this magazine to anyone, especially as it can update the information from some of the older texts.
