I do have Barber and Barker's Tournaments, but I'm also looking for good online references, and am having dificulty. Thanks!

Hi Bill,I am not sure how helpful it will be, but you might try looking at HERALDRY TODAY. They have a large assortment of heraldry, peerage, geneology, and related books from all over europe. Some times you can strike gold. They do occasionally have Armorial facsimiles. http://www.heraldrytoday.co.uk/ The reprint of the Toison d'Or (15th c.)is absolutely gorgeous.
Hope this helps, Jenn -------------------- ad finem fidelis

This is from the University of London. The archive link is currently offline. They are working on a project, but the archive should be back online April 24, 2003.They list the rolls you are looking for. Best browser for this page is IE. http://www.sas.ac.uk/warburg/photos/index/MENIL.htm Jenn -------------------- ad finem fidelis

Thank you very much Jenn! These are helpful, and just great sites to boot Another question...what is the best way to find out who attended what tournament? What I'd like to do is get a listing of tournaments for the years I have listed previously, do my best to find out who participated in them and then note any trends in travel and attendence compared to goings on in the world. I've got the big-picture idea, but don't quite know how to go about it.... Great site, I've been lurking for a while now. I came over when Bob mentioned it over on the Archive.
