I am looking for:
Eaves, Ian, On the remains of a jack of plate excavated from Beeston Castle in Cheshire, 'Journal of the Arms and Armour Society', Vol. 13.2 (September 1989), pp.81-154.Beg, borrow, buy. Any one know where this can be aquired? Photo copies of the needed article?

Hi Arik,Good luck finding it. I'm searching for my own copy, but have regular access to one. Ken Trottman carries it on occassion. You might find it a little dissapointing, it spends the actual article discussing fragments, where they were excavated, and there is no reconstruction on the jack of plates. They show a half dozen examples - all photographed from the outside. Most of the article is footnotes, largely dealing with brigandines, and 3/4 of the pictures are exterior shots of brigandines - mostly 15th century. -------------------- Bob R.
