Henrik,Thanks for the info. I'm not that disappointed by the fact that they're similar to modern gloves... Well, statuary evidences prove it quite clearly, and the fragments that I know are just the same as contemporary gloves ones. I just need a solid archaeological specimen to cross with my own sources, so as to have sufficiently documentation to make a reproduction. So, if you were to make a technical drawing of the gloves in Stockholm, I'd be quite interested... Or just let me know when you'll have sent it to John, I'll ask him to make a copy for me, with your permission. Nota bene: patterns and stitching types infos mostly welcome...
