Author Topic: Had our first GLITCH Fire Stryker Admin & Advocatus Diaboli Member # 2 posted 12-12-2000 09:34 PM                   Hi All, we just found our first glitch with the UBB software. I will probably be shutting down the BBS either tomorrow night or this weekend to upgrade the software. Wil, your post was the "victim". No one deleted it, it still exists the software performed a little "black magic" on it and zapped it. I have backed it up so that the thread won't be lost, it just can't be viewed right now. I was wondering where it went, so I searched all my posts under my profile. Seems the UBB changed the person who started the thread from me to some number, and the whole thing disappeared... You didn't do anything to the board, the board did it to itself. The numeric "threadstarter" is the bug in this version of the board software. Not sure when it happened or what caused it.
