From running the National Living History Fayre (www.livinghistoryfayres.com) it was perhaps inevitable that I would organise events, although I blame Pete the Pong (the Incense Trader) for suggesting it.This year I ran two Medieval Fayres, the Bedfordshire Medieval Fayre and the East Anglian Medieval Fayre, details and photographs can be found at www.medieval-fayre.co.uk and at www.east-anglian-medieval-fayre.co.uk
There are even better pictures at www.rcphotographic.co.uk I's so jealous I'm thinking of throwing my camera out of the pram!
There is also a short promotional video of the East Anglian Medieval Fayre at http://www.lankford.co.uk/EAMF2005/EAMF%20DVD%202005.zip
Next year I have 4 Medieval Events and a Multi-period Event, as well as the bi-annual NLHF.
In fact, there are now very few week ends during the Summer that there is not a worthwhile Medieval event on somewhere in the UK, so if you are planning a holiday in the UK, you are welcome to check with me and I'll happily tell you what is on and where (even if it isn't "one of mine" )
Best wishes
David
