Yes, i know the season hasn't started yet, but a friend and myself ahve been discussing the possibility of getting over to the US for some fighting/LH next year. Could some kind soul point us in the direction of the where and when of events for next year?

Please note, we're re-enactors, and will NOT therefore be interested in taking part in any kind of SCA events.

Woohoo Alan, come to our event, PLEASE!!!! It's always the first weekend of May, and you can sightsee in Southern California before/after. Besides, I have a friend who's a Geordie, so I might actually be able to understand you, especially if you come equipped with English subtitles. ;-)

For 15th century events on the East Coast, there will be the Michaelmas event in September, and the Calais event in May - these two should be annual, and are proper (although small scale to you guys) reenactment events.

Chef, I once did an event that had 4 poeple in it.

We did quite well - fight scenes became somewhat 'protracted'.

Hopefully we'll be over either may/june or june/july - I know ny own group has few commitments in those months so I should be free!

I'm guessing your not just comming here to go to an event, so what part of the country are you looking to go to cause its pretty big and knowing what part of the country your looking to go to might help too.

Brent, am very likely going to California, but also to the other side as well - basically I'd be there for two weeks, so I'll travel about under my own steam.

Well, if you start out in California, you could do the Red Co. event, and if you are staying the month, you could do the Calais event if you are hitting the East Coast in the second half of the month. You would have m,anaged to hit half of the current 15th century events in the course of a year.
