There are 2 weekends of "Knight School" (jousting / hunting games practice) coming up this month-

What
An opportunity for schooling and practice for horses, their riders and ground crew interested in recreating an historically-based joust or tournament. Training for mounts may include armour acceptance, keeping a straight line, pace, etc. Training for riders will include historical background, technique, finesse, working with your mount, etc. Ground crew will lean the basics of horse care, how to be an effective squire, how to setup for tilting and games, etc.

The practice will be run by members of Destrier (UK and US) experienced in jousting and training horses for the joust and other martial activity.

When
Sat March 20 and Sunday March 21
Sat March 27 and Sunday March 28

Where
Ramona, CA

Cost
Variable, depending on whether you supply your own horse or need to rent one, accomodations, etc.
