Well the market is only 2 weeks away now, and as i was booking my train tickets i was wondering if any of you yanks are going to be making it over here for the event??

Those who are may be interested to know we book into a local travel lodge at a group rate, if you contact me well in advance (EG early next week)i may be able to arrange extra rooms for saturday night!

We tend to get pizza and beer and party in one of the rooms after the market closes!

Its a great event, lots of intersting people, stalls, and authentic medevial stuff to look at!

it also goes right upo to american civil war and deals with most periods between. I've been to the last 5-6, and I'll never miss one!

Jeff and I very much regret that our travel fund seems to have been swallowed up in paying 2 full time employees a living wage through a relatively slow couple of months.

Our trip is on indefinite hold at this point.

Believe me, I know it's a bummer! However, the UK isn't going anywhere, and I think even with this setback Jeff and I can keep ahead of continental drift and get there at some point.
