Just wanted to give all those who might give a flip an update.... as many of you know, while at the moment I'm a 3rd Crusade Templar, I'm working on getting to gether a WoR impression. I had no idea what I was going to do, or where I was going to do it, but some really neat things have happened in the last couple of weeks.

I've found TWO guys who want to do archers! So all I really need now is to find a billman, maybe a squire, which shouldn't be to hard. I'm looking at everyone getting their gear and us being able to actually attend an event as a group in ~1.5-2 years: a little while, but realistic. Not only that, but by that time we should have enough horses available to have everyone "mounted", which would be cool. Minus proper saddles . I'm doing some research into what type of household I'd like to do, and I'm actually thinking of being a lance in the household of Richard, Duke of Gloucester (Ricky III). First, because I wanna go Yorkist, and you can't get much more Yorkist than that! Second, and perhaps most important, I think blue and murray are really cool colors. Any comments or suggestions on sources to examine, pitfalls to avoid, etc. would be greatly appreciated!

My God Glen, how many groups are you going to be involved in? You haven't even perfected your Templar kit yet. Sheesh!

Seriously though, if your looking into saddles just talk to Jess. I'm quite sure that together you and he can figure something out when he gets back from Hastings.

Cheers,
EDS.

Glen is in the South East, Georgia if memory serves. I think in the Atlanta area.
