Just wanted to give all those who might give a flip an update.... as many of you know, while at the moment I'm a 3rd Crusade Templar, I'm working on getting to gether a WoR impression. I had no idea what I was going to do, or where I was going to do it, but some really neat things have happened in the last couple of weeks. I've found TWO guys who want to do archers! So all I really need now is to find a billman, maybe a squire, which shouldn't be to hard. I'm looking at everyone getting their gear and us being able to actually attend an event as a group in ~1.5-2 years: a little while, but realistic. Not only that, but by that time we should have enough horses available to have everyone "mounted", which would be cool. Minus proper saddles . I'm doing some research into what type of household I'd like to do, and I'm actually thinking of being a lance in the household of Richard, Duke of Gloucester (Ricky III). First, because I wanna go Yorkist, and you can't get much more Yorkist than that! Second, and perhaps most important, I think blue and murray are really cool colors. Any comments or suggestions on sources to examine, pitfalls to avoid, etc. would be greatly appreciated!
