Absolutely wonderful !!! Jst a few questions : what are the shape/measures of the initial metal sheet ? Wasn't it very heavy to hold during the raising ? Were you alone for this or wasn't there someone to help you ? Thank you for these informations.

Lovely work EZric, as usual. I'd call it a classic Western European sallet, rather than strictly Anglais. The Demi-visor and pointed bowl are as common in Hainault anf Flemish art, if not more so than England.

If I can give any stylistic advice, I woulde give the bowl more of a prominent point for the next go. If yoiu want to get really fancy for the next go, make the bowl faceted, or even flutes, like a certain example in Le Musée d'Armée.

Very nice Eric, hope it sells soon, anyone should be proud to wear that piece.

Got to agree with Chef on the stylistic points. Go all the way with the next one like this!

Wow! Merv you making me blush Geoffroi I started with a round piece of 24 inch diameter with one point for the tail and yes it was heavy as hell I was alone. Bod next time because there will be an other pointed sallet I will go all the way it just this one I started it as a standard sallet so I was pretty limited, have any go picture of pointed one.
