Hi everybody. This is my first post, so please, forgive me errors. I am armourer from Poland. I have graduetted artschool and I love making armours and other medieval stuff (bone and antler wares for example). We have also small group of Vikings, here in Krosno, where we live in Poland. We (me and my wife) are initiators and chieffs of our group. I am gladd that I have fond such great forum .
This is armour (my work) based on armour of Urlich IV von Metz from Churburg (brass emblishment are diffrent : floral). And for clienst order I have made klappvisier, not hundsgugel like in original.
Klapvisier is 2 mm. It is attemper. Rest z 1,5 mm, but kness and elbows : 2mm.
Everything is handwork, not stamp.
Rest on my web site : www.thorkil.ovh.org

Looks very very nice. Although there are several differences to the originals; studs, visor hinge, size of eyslits for example.

Do you also do commissioned work?

I usually do commissioned work.
I've writen a little about my work on "Welcome new member" subject : "I don't have a price list. I usualy make for commision and I love to do new things as often as it possible. People are telling me what they are interested to and I give them prices. One wants to have emblishment, other- plume holder. I find my work more than art than production and I don't have catalog as I don't make only this stuff from my web site, I can do almost everything." My web site : http://thorkil.ovh.org/indexang.htm
