What is the original helmet it was made after?

Hi! The Bascinet is welded in the middle the visor in the middle too, my patron send me picture of deferent version of it as guide line some historical some not he wanted extra ventilation hole on the left side.

Eric, I think that looks like nice work. The hinges and the spring catch on the visor look well done.
