I am hoping to be able to hit some museums and see some armour...does anyone have any advice? I can anyway recommend you the German National Museum in Nuremberg - pretty neat collection with two bascinets, lot of tournament armour and some late gothic stuff... The German Army Museum in Ingolstadt (even more south )is also to recommend...
