Are gadlings right for mid to late 14c? If so, who makes them and how difficult would they be to attach to existing gauntlets?

Hello,

If you mean by gadlings what I Think (english isn't my language), that's to say the little metal cup which protect the one or two finger joints (it depends the technique choosen), yes there are gadlings for gauntlets from mid to late 14th gauntlets and even before and after !! Who makes them ? Any intermediate or master armourer in the world !! They are normally either riveted to a leather strip or riveted to the adjoining finger plates like the basic joint system of a leg or arm harness. But personnaly, I've never seen this system in 14th period hourglass gauntlets (most of their fingers plates have been lost...too bad !!)
