Hi guys,

I recently finished this breast and back plate. I made this for a member of my reenactment group. Your comments are welcome.

Well, I can't comment on the authenticity, but the workmanship looks very very nice.

Excellent!!!!!

Thanks! I have a question about the germans bevors. I saw some examples of bevor fixed to the breastplate and some other fixed only to the neck by the leather strap.

What is the best(historical) way to fix the bevor for a Swiss footsoldier of 1475?

I personaly think the one with the leather neckstrap.. It gives the most freedom of movement you want as a food (uhm sorry, foot) soldier.

I agree with you.

All breastplates with fixed bevor seems to have a lance rest... Fixed bevor are perhap mostly for horsemans?
