I was lucky enough to pick up a well shaped and hammered Sallade (looks English style to me, but I'm still a very VERY entry level novice to the 15th century armour) from Lewis Moore for very short change.

The only issue is, I need to line and strap the sallade.

Any tips? Suggestions? Examples?

Hey EM,

If you want to stop by the barn, Bob and I can show you the liners so you don't have to wait until next week.

Drop us a line or give us a call.

Jenn

Forth Armoury has a tutorial on how to build an authentic padding.

Not a whole lot on the strap, though...

Jenn,

Friedrich, that was the plan, but that would mean I wouldn't have a helm for the event.

On the other hand I'm not sure what ya'll are going to think of this. It looks like an English influenced export sallade, but I'm not 100% sure... hrm, maybe I should post pictures.

Thanks Jenn, you may want to email me your number though, I don't think I have it. At the same time I can hand you a check too....
