does anyone have any informative help in makeing a brig? or a Jack?

i've been researching the idea and would love to know others opinions that have handled or made them. (i.e are the plates dished as well as shaped? where did you get the rivits, time took to make, final costs etc. as well as how/where you started on it)

main time frame i'm in is english 1461 era. any pictures you can provide would be great. i've got most of the osprey books and embelton books covering the time periods.
