Hi;

Several people have referred to this book, mostly with reference to the fact that it's a) unobtainable and b) hideously expensive.

I'm just back from the Royal Armouries, and they are selling the two-volume set reprinted as a single hardcover volume for £60 (about USD 100).

Sorry if this is old news, but I thought it was worth posting this on the offchance it wasn't.

If anybody is interested, and finds they've got a problem getting from the armouries direct, I notice that the reprint says its "in conjunction with the Higgins armoury museum", so you could try them.

Sorry to say it is old news indeed.

Amazon also sells it. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1891448056/qid=1036417733/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/002-1332706-7775227?v=glance

I just haven't got around to buying it because it's $100 which is quite some money still.
