Hi, it's just me peeking my head up here again. I haven't posted here in a while. Guess it's time to change that!

I'm interested in finding any and all pictures of gothic leg armour online for a set of legs I am going to make myself. I think it's high time I stopped making sport armour and started making more authentic pieces, so the quasi-splinted armour I'm using has to go... I'm not really fixed on a specific time and place, but that's only because I don't know much about that time period.

I'm not in the SCA, and my group doesn't have strict armour standards, so I'm free to stick to the authentic designs as much as possible.

Thanks in advance for your help. I promise to come around and post more! For now, though, it's time to read up on some posts...

Hello Clay,

you can see a good original in the Deutsches Historisches Museum in Berlin (it´s a complete suit): http://www.dhm.de/datenbank/
Type "feldharnisch" in the field "Objektart" and click "Suchen".

Greetings

Peter
