Although this harness is being offered for sale, I thought that maybe some of you would like to see it and maybe get some ideas from it. For a complete description of it go here.

Someday I hope to have rig like that. After I win the lottery that is.

Cheers,

Toby made the suit himself? Are you sure about that? In all of our correspondence, he has never said a word about making armour himself. I know he goes to the top armourers in the world for his harnesses, but I NEVER heard him say he did any hammering.

Wonderful harness, but I'd be suprised if he made it. With that having been said, I wonder who did.

He may not have done the hammering and such, but he did play a major role in the construction of it in terms of ideas on how it should fit as well as many other facets of its design.

The sallet was made by Robert MacPherson, while the rest of the armour was crafted by Peter Leight.

I was curious enough to drop him a note of enquiry, so I expect that he'll tell me the same thing you say- that he's the designer and the armourers did the actual construction. It's not at all unusual for this to happen with a client and his armourer, as Jeff is currently operating under the same arrangement with Bob Reed and his harness.
