Howdy, y'all!

I just purchased from a book dealer "Armi e Armature Lombarde" - by Boccia, Rossi & Morin. His asking price was $125US. I felt that this was a pretty good price because of Craig's previous post on Italian armor books. In talking further to this gentleman, he mentioned that he had another armor book which wasn't supposed to be as good, but might be something I'd be interested in. He couldn't decipher the author's name (it's in Cyrillic), but the title (a translation from the French) is "Palace of Armor of the Kremlin in Moscow", 1969. It has 175 color plates (not all armor - some saddles, weapons, etc.), and apparently also has Byzantine, Turkish, Iranian and other styles. He described the armor as 'real museum quality' stuff, but knowing nothing about armor, couldn't put a date on it. Have any of y'all heard of this book? Any feedback on reasonable price range?

Comments would be appreciated...

Thanks,

Bill
