Good day all,

I close friend of mine is looking for a Whitney (sp?) punch and Beverly Shears. He has been unable to find them locally.

Any pointers for a supplier would be most appreciated. He resides in Florida but as long as the items can be shipped he is not too concerned about it.

James acquired his beverly shears and whitney punches off of ebay. The items are available with varying frequency, but it's an option.

The McMaster-Carr pages will give you an idea of what retail on the punches is: http://www.mcmaster.com/cgi/loadpage.cgi?pagenum=1968

Another option for teh punches is to buy directly from Roper Whitney. James ended up going this route for the punches & dies because they were willing to sell him the parts seperately. This was important because he has two No.7 1/2 punches which take a No. 8 punch and a No. 7 die. In any case they were very pleasant to deal with and turned around the order very promptly. Their website is http://www.roperwhitney.com/ phone is 815.962.3011

If you're willing to pay for a new set of beverly shears you might try: http://www.lowbucktools.com/beverly.html
or http://www.moderntool.com/shears.htm

Hope that helps.
Mitake.
